Meet Steve. One mechanic, one kind of car.

Steve bought his first Beetle — a tired '67 with a slipping clutch — at sixteen, and fixed it in his parents' driveway with a Bentley manual and a borrowed torque wrench. He's been under air-cooled Volkswagens ever since.

After years at a general import shop, he opened Bugs N Buses to do one thing well: honest mechanical work on Type 1s, 2s, 3s, and Ghias for owners across Central Oregon — Bend, Sisters, Redmond, and everywhere in between. No upsells, no mystery line items — just the repairs your car needs, explained in plain English.

These cars are simple, but they're not crude. They reward a mechanic who knows their habits: the valve adjustments they demand, the way a flat-four tells you what's wrong if you listen. That's the knowledge you're paying for here.
